Camden Rushwin

Camden Rushwin is a director, composer, arranger, show designer, educator, and musician working with groups across Kentucky and beyond. He brings an integrated creative approach to performance design, blending music, visual identity, and media into cohesive artistic experiences outside and within his company Sonorous Arts.                                        

Camden currently resides in Bowling Green, KY where he works with multiple programs and continues providing fresh experiences and approaches to the scene. 

Indoor Percussion

Camden has been highly active in the world of indoor percussion as the Director of the Allen County–Scottsville Indoor Percussion Ensemble. He serves as composer, arranger, and show designer for the ensemble, developing students’ musicality and performance skills while elevating the ensemble’s overall reputation.


The ensemble competes in Winter Guard International and the South-Eastern Colorguard Circuit within the Percussion Scholastic Concert A classification, providing a competitive and educational environment for students to develop their skills and experience next-level performance.

Camden oversees and is responsible for all aspects of the program, including classification, show design, music composition, arrangement, and instruction. In addition, he has provided music and show design support for other ensembles across the United States, including original compositions and conceptual development.

Marching Band

Camden began and continues his work in the marching band scene as the Front Ensemble Instructor at Allen County–Scottsville High School, and has also worked with Edmonson County High School.


Over time, he has expanded his responsibilities to include percussion writing and program support. He continues to grow in the marching arts, bringing his experience and educational foundation to help students perform with confidence and musicality.

Early Years

Camden began performing and competing in high school. In 2023, he earned a WGI World Championship title with Warren East High School, gaining valuable experience in next-level performance, ensemble collaboration, and competition.


Camden has been immersed in music since childhood, eventually gravitating toward percussion and the pageantry arts. He currently attends Western Kentucky University as a music education major, continuing to develop his skills in performance, arranging, and ensemble leadership.
